The Beginning in Ghana
Minamalista Decor was birthed during the uncertainty of COVID-19, in a season when the world felt shaken. It was in that moment that my faith journey and sense of purpose in Christ began to take root. The business came to life through a calling, yet as I pursued the work, I often leaned on my own strength and drifted from the deeper purpose God had entrusted to me.
Still, even in my striving, God’s hand never left the business. His grace carried me through those three years in Ghana, proving His faithfulness again and again. That season became a reminder that my timing means nothing without His, and that His plans are always greater than my own.
A Divine Encounter: South Africa & Purpose Redefined
My journey took a beautiful turn when I met my husband — a divine encounter that felt as though God Himself had prepared the moment. One quiet morning in a coffee shop, our paths crossed. We sat across from each other, and I could sense the atmosphere shift. That meeting was not by chance; it was God’s timing, His strategy, just as Ruth met Boaz. I often say my husband is my “Boaz” because he was an answer God had written into my story.
Relocating to South Africa was more than a personal move — it was a call from God. This new chapter is no longer just about me or the business, but about what He desires to do through it. Minamalista Decor is now a testimony of faith, purpose, and divine timing. Every collection, every detail, and every design is a reminder that this work belongs to Him.

At the core of it all, I am a creator. I love being behind the machine, working with my hands, and bringing visions to life. Sewing, stitching, and designing are not just tasks for me — they are expressions of who I am and what I’ve been called to do.
Every pillow, every curtain, and every detail is crafted with intention. My passion is to design pieces that carry more than beauty — they carry meaning, identity, and inspiration.
